Membership

Join the founding cohort.

AI SIGMA is currently forming a small founding cohort of practitioners and institutions working across the AI deployment layer. The founding cohort will help review, stress-test, and refine the first model clauses and future conformance criteria.

Who should apply

  • AI and product counsel — in-house and outside attorneys advising on AI deployment.
  • Commercial and technology lawyers — transactional practice across SaaS, enterprise software, and IP.
  • Compliance and risk leaders — CCOs, CROs, and program leads responsible for AI risk programs.
  • Procurement professionals — CPOs, vendor management, and category owners purchasing AI systems.
  • AI product and technical leaders — CTOs, heads of AI, ML platform leads.
  • Policy and standards professionals — staff at think tanks, standards bodies, and policy organizations.
  • Regulated-industry operators — finance, healthcare, government, and other sectors deploying AI under regulation.

How the founding cohort works

Founding-cohort members work directly with the Founding Co-Chair on the drafting and mapping of the first deployment-layer standards. Participation is by invitation; submission of an interest form does not create membership.

The cohort is intentionally small — targeting twenty-five to fifty individuals — to preserve coherence in the development of the founding standards. Founding Members will be recognized in the historical record of the Institute.

Membership tiers, dues structures, and committee governance will be published as the founding cohort and the first standards approach public release.
